If you find yourself wanting to create a new kit that is very similar to an existing kit. For example, a small shrub requires less labor and materials than does a big shrub. The components are essentially the same, but as the shrub sizes increase, so must the quantities of standard components. The same would apply to various styles of paving stones. Many of the same standard components apply to a wide range of paving stones, but specific material quantities may need to be added or adjusted. With this requirement in mind, Manage360 enables you to create a new kit based on an existing kit by way of clicking "Clone Kit" while in an existing kit. A new kit is created using all the same components and information from the original kit. To clone a kit, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Costbook.
2. Click on the Kits link.
3. Click on the Kit Name to open for editing, click on the Actions Button and Select Clone This Kit.
4. Click OK to confirm that you want to create a copy of this kit.
5. Enter in a new Name for the cloned kit.
Important:
The Kit must be saved before any changes are made.
6. Make the Necessary Changes to the Cloned Kit.
7. Click Save to save the changes.
