The Contract tab of a Maintenance Job is a great place to add just one visit, or multiple occurrences of a recurring visit. This is preferable if this particular service is best scheduled independently of other services.
The Contract tab lists all services from the proposal, including Contracted, As Needed, and On Demand Services. Listed next to each Service is the Actions drop-down list. If the service is recurring, you have the option to schedule all visits, one visit, or an extra visit (a visit exceeding the number of planned visits in the contract).
Scheduling all visits will open a window from which you can auto-schedule each visit based on its recurrence pattern. You can adjust the dates of individual visits from here, or later from the Visits tab of the Job or from the Schedule Calendar. Visits can always be rescheduled.
Selecting “Visit” or “Extra Visit” will allow to choose the assigned Crew and Date/Time of an individual visit.
Once you have scheduled one or more visits, the “Progress” column on the contracts tab will update to reflect the number of scheduled visits. The visits will now have their assigned Crew and Date/time on the Visits tab of the Job and will also appear on the Schedule Calendar.
