Italics is used for notes
Boldface is used for emphasis and when referring to buttons which perform an action
Underline is used for referencing Clickable Links which perform an action
Navigation paths are described as follows: Home > My Tasks… means click the Home tab on the screen and then click the My Tasks Tab
Terms in square brackets, such as [Tab], [Ctrl], [Esc], and [Shift] refer to keys on the keyboard.
Keyboard sequences are described in the following manner: “Use the shortcut [Ctrl + A]. (Hold [Ctrl] and press [A].)” Or “Hold the [Ctrl] key and press [A].”
